Lawyer Baran Doğan

Mr. Baran Dogan established his legal practice in 2002. Since then he has actively participated in the Code of Criminal Procedure Service of the Istanbul Bar Association. He has also served as a regional manager in the State Security Court for one term, has conducted various legal studies as a member of several non-governmental organizations and has published articles in several newspapers.

Prior to starting his legal practice, Mr. Dogan graduated from the Law Faculty of Marmara University in 2000. Between 2008 and 2009 he studied English in England, where he was awarded with the advanced English learning certificate by the Embassy Cess Academy, accredited by the British Council. Mr. Dogan is currently participating in a graduate program in the Public Law Department of Istanbul Aydın University’s, focusing on international organizations, the International Criminal Court and the freedom of thought and expression.

Attorney Baran Doğan has conducted in-service training seminars in the fields of criminal law and criminal procedure law. As a member of various civil society organizations, he has carried out studies and projects related to criminal law. He has published numerous articles covering all areas of criminal law.
